PSYCHOTHERAPY - A JOURNEY OF SELF-EXPLORATION AND PERSONAL GROWTH
Depression, anxiety, panic, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, etc., are common psychological conditions. It could be the daily stress that has been gradually coming on or something that started with an event, e.g. a bereavement, a relationship breakdown, or an unhappy childhood. More often than not, symptoms of psychological conditions are presentations of the more profound inner being that needs to be heard, discussed, understood, and reconciled. It is a journey of self-exploration and personal growth. I will walk with you all through this wonderful journey in the therapy sessions.
We will work in collaboration to...
Setting up realistic goals for your therapy
Learning about how your mind works
Enhance your skills of emotional regulation
Reconcile with the past and present
Challenging unhelpful thinking, core beliefs, and hidden rules
Building up new ways of thinking and living
Practicing new values and beliefs

ASSESSMENT AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
In my therapy sessions, I'll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behaviour. I will help you "re-frame" your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life's obstacles.
Therapy will be beneficial and inspirational.
Before the first appointment, I will initially have a half an hour chat with you on the phone to find out a little about your current situation and needs for support. If we both agree that this is the right therapy for you, then we will book an appointment for the first session.
The first session of the therapy is usually a 60-minute assessment. Treatment is around 10 sessions. There will be fewer sessions for less severe conditions.
